Set in the mesmerizing depths of the ocean, this 9-minute animation promises to captivate audiences of all ages with its stunning visuals and a heartwarming story, the short film received a Special Mention for Short Animated Film at Koszalin Debut Film Festival. The film is produced by Munk Studio and LeLe Crossmedia Production with support of the Polish Film Institute.
MoMo & LuLu, two little sea creatures, one sedentary and the other free-floating, meet in the deep and hostile ocean. Their encounter sparks a sensual dance, filled with beauty and emotion, as they navigate the challenges of the underwater world. The narrative explores themes of friendship, resilience, and the transformative power of connection. But can their delicate bond withstand the ocean’s relentless challenges? Will their dance lead them to a lasting partnership, or will the currents of fate pull them apart?
The film will be screened next at Animator.pl (Polish Competition) and in Cambodia International Film Festival (Cartoons of the World).
