After hosting 3 authors in 2023, the Pôle Image Magelis (in partnership with the Département de la Charente), Wallimage SA, and the Film Fund Luxembourg are renewing their cooperation in 2024 to offer an international French-language writing residency for animated film and television works. The deadline is July 31.

The intention is to work together to support cross-border scriptwriting projects for feature films or animated series in a 3-week residency in October 2024, with one week in each signatory territory of the protocol for each selected author.

Projects must be animated, written in French, and intended for film or television. They must be in the start-up phase and not in a rewriting phase. Applications must include a synopsis of at least 3 pages, a CV of the author, and a description of the planned genre (feature film, series, 2D or 3D animation, etc.) and target audience.

To be eligible, they must have the potential to interest audiences of the 3 countries.
