PGS Entertainment, a leader in children’s animation, announces a strategic partnership with independent CG studio Little Moon Animation for the global distribution of their new animated series, The Scavengers.
Directed by Eoghan Garvey (Fia’s Fairies), created by Vanessa Robinson and executive produced by David McCamley at Little Moon Animation for RTEjr, this new Sci-Fi adventure comedy series is set to captivate 6-12-year-olds with its futuristic family adventures.
Set in Ireland in the year 3000, the Scavenger crew are the first (and only!) humans to live on earth in a thousand years. The 11-minute episodes tell the story of Arrow, along with his sister Starla and best friend and robot ARG, as they navigate the comedic chaos and unexpected dangers of life on future Earth.
Philippe Soutter, President of PGS Entertainment, expressed his excitement about the partnership:
We are thrilled to partner with Little Moon Animation on ‘The Scavengers’. The quality of the show is exceptional, combining stunning animation with engaging storytelling. We believe it will resonate deeply with young audiences around the world, and we are excited to bring this imaginative series to life through our global distribution network.
Vanessa Robinson, CEO & Co-Founder of Little Moon Animation, added:
Collaborating with PGS Entertainment on ‘The Scavengers’ has been a joy for Little Moon. Their expertise in the children’s entertainment space, combined with our creative vision for the show, means that our Scavenger family adventures will reach audiences far and wide. Between us we promise to deliver an unforgettable experience for young viewers and looking forward to families joining Arrow, Starla, and ARG on their wild adventures!
With delivery to RTEjr scheduled for November 2024, The Scavengers is poised to become a must-watch series for young audiences.
