The shorts will focus on a group of characters inspired by MrBeast Lab in their battle against the Shroud, a shadowy sinister force from another dimension. Using cutting-edge technology from the lab MrBeast secretly housed underneath his content studio, all sorts of Hybrid Beasts are created and modified for the ultimate battle for the fate of their world.

The animated shorts will be executive produced by Matthew Senreich, with Sam Levine serving as showrunner. Levine directed critically acclaimed animated feature, DC League of Super-Pets for Warner Bros. and developed and wrote on Disney Animation Studios’ Wreck-It Ralph. Levine also co-created and served as showrunner for Disney’s animated series Penn-Zero Part-Time Hero.

Jeffrey Housenbold, CEO of MrBeast Industries, added:

This is the perfect moment to take the MrBeast Lab world to the next level with animation. It’s an exciting new way for fans to dive deeper into the adventure and experience the world like never before.

Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, founded by Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, John Harvatine IV, and Eric Towner, is best known for creating Robot Chicken, the longest running stop-motion show on television and a multi-Emmy Award winner. The studio’s other projects include Crossing Swords (Hulu), Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. (Hulu), Ultra City Smiths (AMC) and many others.

Levine added:

It’s super cool to be working on a project that brings us the #1 YouTuber and an amazingly innovative toy company like Moose. The cast of characters they created across the MrBeast Lab line gives us tons of inspiration to work with to blow this thing out of the water…or, out of the MrBeast Lab! Fans should prepare for some crazy explosive storylines.

Paul Solomon, CEO, Moose Toys:

We’re doubling down on our investment in MrBeast Lab, which has already been our most successful new launch ever. The dynamic, action-packed shorts will bring a whole new dimension to MrBeast Lab, extending the brand out of the toy aisle and creating a fresh way for kids to engage with the characters. With the experience, genius and irreverent storytelling that Stoopid Buddy Stoodios brings to the party, we have found the ideal partner to bring this to life.

MrBeast Lab Mutators earned the #1 spot in U.S. sales in the entire Action Figure supercategory for the fall season, August – December 2024, and took home the top gaining property of the year for Action Figures in the Circana 2024 European Toy Awards. MrBeast Lab Swarms 2-figure and 5-figure Packs were the #1 and #2 top selling items in Action Figure Collectibles during the same period. The results validate the innovative toymaker disrupting the norms and setting a new standard for the toy aisle by going all-in on a strategy built around a co-created product line with MrBeast.
