Bursting with humour, heart and hands-on creativity, The Tinies is produced by MIAM! animation in coproduction with Panique! and Lunanime with Canal+, VRT-Ketnet and RTBF as commissioning broadcasters. The series is set to premiere in France in October 2025.

These new partnerships add to the growing international excitement for The Tinies, which has already been acquired by TV5 Monde, Télé Quebec, RTÉ, Bein, LTV, MiniMini+, ERR, and Canal+ Afrique.

With 50×11’ episodes and a 22’ Christmas special, The Tinies is a character-driven sitcom that drops upper-preschoolers into the bustling, toy-built world of Attic Town. Every day brings a new adventure (or minor disaster!), but luckily, Ollie and her best friend Titus, turn their crafting skills into superpowers to solve everyday problems in a sustainable way.

The Tinies (50×11 + 22’) is a real time CGI animated series directed by Wassim Boutaleb (Ana Pumpkin, No-No shrinks) with art direction from Yann Boyer (Asterix, Around the World in 80 Days), both of whom also co-created the series’ distinct visual identity. The Tinies freely adaptsThe Big Book of Little DIY Crafts” by Martine Camillieri.

Hanna Mouchez, CEO and Executive Producer at MIAM! animation, commented:

At MIAM!, we believe in stories that inspire action. The Tinies is more than a show—it’s an invitation for kids to play, upcycle, and see their imagination come to life by crafting their own toys like their heroes. In doing so, they develop self -confidence, problem-solving skills, and a mindset for sustainability—values that have resonated with our dear broadcasting partners. We’re thrilled to see the series land on home channels where kids will discover our show and what makes it so special: a mix of comedy, creativity, and a vibrant ensemble of toy characters, each bringing their own quirks and talents to their hand-made Attic Town.

Produced at MIAM! studio using Real-Time 3D technology (Unreal Engine), The Tinies adopts an eco-conscious production pipeline that significantly reduces dependence on large rendering farms and heavy hardware. As a result, the studio projects a notably lower carbon footprint of 142 tCO2 for the production of the show. This commitment aligns with MIAM!’s mission to produce high-quality content while minimising environmental impact, an approach that has been recognised by initiatives such as CNC, the Europe Creative Media programme, and the “France 2030” French Government plan.

The broadcasters have also shared their excitement for this newly acquisition.

Veronica Manzerolle, Director Programming and Acquisitions at WildBrain Television said:

The Tinies is a wonderful addition to our programming lineup. With its creativity, humour and themes of sustainability, we know Canadian kids and their families will fall in love with the series.

Marije Brouwer, Programme Buyer at NPO added:

The Tinies is a fresh, inventive series that delivers humor, creativity and friendship while championing sustainability making it a wonderful addition to our programming slate.

Saskia Krijnen, Children’s Programming Consultant RTS concluded:

This show’s mix of comedy, friendship, and DIY fun makes it a wonderful addition to our preschool programming slate.
