Goat Girl is coming-of-age comedy is co-produced by Daily Madness, MIAM! animation, and Thuristar. This recognition praises the wacky journey of Gigi, a teenager raised by goats in the mountains, as she faces the biggest challenge of her life—attending school for the first time! Goat Girl is a quirky comedy with a hero who tackles every challenge with a goat-like stubbornness and strength.

In addition to this exciting festival news, MIAM! distribution has secured key international sales for Goat Girl, with ITV (UK) and WildBrain Television (Canada) joining the growing list of broadcasters, including WarnerMedia EMEA, KIKA, VRT-Ketnet, RTE, YLE, DR, and RUV. The series is set to premiere in February 2026.

Darren Nartey, Senior Acquisitions Manager at ITV, stated:

We instantly fell in love with Goat Girl’s offbeat humour and heartwarming message. Gigi’s journey is something every child can relate to—finding where you belong without losing yourself. It’s a fantastic addition to our lineup.

Veronica Manzerolle, Director Programming and Acquisitions at WildBrain Television, added:

WildBrain Television is proud to bring Goat Girl to audiences who crave smart, character-driven comedy. The show’s mix of physical comedy, sharp wit, and an inspiring message of self-acceptance makes it a perfect fit for Family Channel.

With a powerhouse team of women creators—including three women producers, two women directors, and two women showrunners, female leadership isn’t just behind the screen—it’s on-screen too.

Hanna Mouchez, CEO and Executive Producer at MIAM! animation, said:

Gigi is the kind of heroine we rarely see in kids’ and tweens’ comedy today: bold, unapologetic, effortlessly funny, and completely herself. She doesn’t change or shrink to fit others’ expectations—she owns her quirks proving both girls and boys that real strength comes from being true to yourself… horns, hooves, and all. That’s why Goat Girl matters, and we can’t wait to have her on screen.

MIAM! distribution is dedicated to bringing impactful, socially relevant stories to screens, and Goat Girl is no exception. With themes of self-acceptance and community the series aligns perfectly with MIAM!’s mission to create meaningful entertainment that inspires and resonates with audiences.
