International content production and distribution powerhouse Kedoo Entertainment expands its kids’ entertainment portfolio today, with the launch of the brand-new Super Toons App and dedicated FAST channels for children and families, as well as new content on Super Toons.

Now available to download on iOS and Android, the Super Toons App offers a vibrant and safe space for kids to enjoy premium animated series. Featuring fan-favourite comedy adventures including Angry Birds, Masha and the Bear, Booba, Pororo the Little Penguin, Om Nom Stories and Mighty Mike, the app builds on the phenomenal success of Kedoo’s Super Toons TV YouTube channels, which have already amassed more than 20 million subscribers worldwide.

Awarded 5 stars by the Educational App Store and listed on the kidSAFE Seal Program, Super Toons offers a freemium experience with a daily screen-time limit of 15 minutes and ad-free viewing. For just £0.99 per month or £9.99 per year, subscribers can unlock full access to a growing catalogue of premium kids’ content. Features include robust parental controls (including watch history, screentime settings, and content blocking) as well as unlimited downloads of content for offline viewing.

Co-Founder and COO of Kedoo Olivier Bernard says:

Launching our new Super Toons app and expanding our FAST distribution enables us to reach new audiences, and build our networks and franchises around the world, expanding our fan communities for iconic properties such as Booba. We are ensuring kids and parents can enjoy entertainment in a safe, educational and engaging digital environment.

Kedoo is also expanding its reach with new free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels under the Super Toons brand.

Building on its existing presence via Super Toons TV on Samsung TV Plus since 2020, the company has inked two new major distribution deals, including a partnership with TCL launching both Super Toons TV and Toon Mania on TCL Channel worldwide. And a deal with Xiaomi to roll out Super Toons TV on Xiaomi TV+ across European territories including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK.

Super Toons brings Kedoo’s rich catalogue of kid-safe programming to even more families around the world, as the FAST channels are compliant with the industry standards of the kidSAFE Seal and Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU) Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Safe Harbor Programs.

With new content being acquired every quarter, Super Toons is adding season 1 and 2 of animated series Gormiti (52 episodes x 11 minutes) to the app, FAST and YouTube channels this month.

The show is based on an Italian toy franchise of the same name. It follows four young kids – Riff, Ikor, Trek and Eron – who stumble upon an ancient fortress and the evil Darkans are back. Now, they must master their powers and summon the legendary Gormiti to defeat the Darkens, once and for all.
