In her new role, Anna Pokorska will oversee international sales operations in Italy, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey and Israel for shows including Angry Birds, Total Drama Island, Lucas The Spider, Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super and Armorsaurs. Anna will be reporting to Dominic Gardiner, CAKE’s Managing Director, Distribution.

Anna Pokorska

Pokorska brings with her a wealth of experience in the animation and kids’ industries. Prior to joining CAKE, she held key positions having worked as SVP of Sales at GFM Animation, at Wizart Animation managing global distribution of their animated features, at Interfilm as CIS Regional Manager for Warner Bros. and for HBO CIS as Casting Manager.

Anna Pokorska said:

I’m thrilled to be joining the company I’ve admired for as long as I can remember—a true pioneer in kids’ entertainment. It’s an honour to contribute to CAKE’s continued growth and help its fantastic shows reach new audiences around the world.

Most recently, Pokorska has consulted for MK2 Films on animation acquisitions along with several other clients across the development and distribution of feature films and series. She has produced several projects including two documentaries for ARTE channel, animated series Beastly Crimes, and contributed to the production of feature film Polina.

Dominic Gardiner, Managing Director, Distribution at CAKE, stated:

We’re excited to have Anna join the team at CAKE. Her experience in animation and strong industry relationships make her a great fit as we continue to grow our global reach.
