Year 2025 marks the company’s 30th anniversary, with the return of one of its most iconic animated series.
Launched in Italy back in 2004, the Winx Club rapidly became a huge hit worldwide, gaining a massive global fanbase. Set in a vibrant world of magic, friendship and courage, Winx Club The Magic is Back will premiere in September in the UK on CBBC and iPlayer and in fall in Italy on RAI and in France on TF1, with a global launch on Netflix on October 2nd.
The trailer offers a sneak peek at the many exciting surprises awaiting viewers in the new season of Rainbow‘s evergreen Italian saga, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year — a classic brand that continues to evolve and reinvent itself.

This exciting new chapter of adventures, consisting in 26 episodes, brings the Magical Dimension to life like never before, while retaining the values that have endeared Winx Club to generations of young girls: exciting girl-empowerment storylines, inspiring themes of friendship and courage, key global values such as diversity and inclusion, wrapped in an engaging blend of comedy and music.
The iconic characters have been restyled while maintaining their unique personalities, with new challenges awaiting in a world that’s more artistically rich than ever before.
Showcasing yet another leap forward in technology and storytelling for the series, it is created entirely in CGI animation with Rainbow’s signature cutting-edge production, featuring increasingly refined special effects, more immersive environments than ever, dazzling new transformations that highlight each fairy’s unique magic, exquisitely designed costumes tailored to their personalities, and countless details that make for a truly spectacular visual experience.
