There is a NEW animation ‘industry update’ afternoon tea conference at the British Library, which will take place on the 6th October 2025 (afternoon) at the British Library, London.

Built to be a forum to share ideas, with informative presentations on Uber cool animation, AI, Financing and co-productions, Get Animated London will give industry executives a chance to get together as we go into Q4 and discuss topics affecting our industry. We are delighted at the time of press BBC Commercial Rights, PACT, Blue Zoo, Sun and Moon, Golden Wolf, TG Entertainment, Scripts Out Loud, the BFI, Creative England and Lupus Films are confirmed presenters, with more confirming shortly.

Ryan Beaird Event Director said:

“With the ever-changing landscape in the animation sector having a forum and conference where new funding opportunities lie, and how international co-productions are put together we should be assisting the industry for this new event.”

For the Intellectual property merchandising sector, after speaking with major retailers, Brands Retail Winter 25 will be moved from its usual time of January to now take place in the festive season on the 9th December 25 (full day) at the British Library, London.

“This will be a first for the L&M industry, with a festive party to finish off the screenings at the iconic British Library it will give brands and their partners opportunity to converse during the golden period. We have also split out the sectors, and will have TV, Film and Gaming in the morning, Luxury, Lifestyle and Heritage after lunch, Sports and commercial brands in the afternoon, with a retailers panel to close, and I am delighted HMV and Iceland have supported the panel this early” – Ryan Beaird Event Director.

£50 Early bird Tickets and registration for Get Animated London  can be purchased through the website at www.GetAnimated.uk/oct25 (after 31st August £85 a ticket)

Retailers and Licensees can register their five VIP seats at www.BrandsRetail.uk/dec25 – with brands wishing to reserve their 15-minute presentation slots through the event director Ryan.Beaird@brandsretail.uk
