Pioneering digital-first animation studio Amuse Animation announces the launch of Car City Adventures, a fully localized 24/7 linear FAST channel on Samsung TV Plus. Now available in eight languages across ten countries, Amuse partnered with Xumo Enterprise, the business-to-business arm of Xumo that provides FAST solutions to the industry, on the development, creation, and distribution of the channel.

Car City Adventures features 24 of Amuse Animation’s hugely popular vehicle-themed series, making it a unique offering in the preschool entertainment space. Designed for preschoolers and their families, it offers a captivating blend of adventure, comedy, and edutainment, starring every manner of vehicle. The programming features a diverse mix of dialogue, songs, narratives, and non-dialogue episodes, formatted into themed 30-minute blocks that promote core values such as friendship, teamwork, kindness, empathy, and gratitude. The original content from Amuse Animation has had huge success around the world garnering well over 10 billion views on YouTube and 13 billion views in China.

Zirong Zheng, Distribution & Content Partnerships Manager at Amuse Animation commented:

We are thrilled to partner with Samsung and Xumo Enterprise on our first ever vehicle-driven FAST channel. We know that preschool kids universally gravitate towards vehicle-related play which has been at the heart of our series’ success for many years: they genuinely align with preschooler interests across borders and language boundaries. Whilst the kids’ ad revenue model is still maturing, we see undeniable potential in FAST to boost IP awareness, especially with major global partners like Samsung. Our collaboration with Samsung and Xumo Enterprise marks a significant milestone in our global expansion.

Amuse Animation creates animated heroes for kids who are kind, responsible, and creative. Characters face real-world issues and inspire curiosity through a diverse array of content, including musical, comedy, adventure, and educational series.

Car City Adventures is now available on Samsung TV Plus, Samsung’s free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Mexico, and Brazil. A Korean channel will launch in South Korea in the coming weeks, with other APAC countries to follow. Samsung TV Plus is Samsung’s go-to source for entertainment for all the family, that delivers thousands of TV shows, movies, sports, news and more to millions of Samsung Smart TVs, Galaxy devices, and in several markets select Family Hub refrigerators and the web.

Jennifer Batty, Head of Content Acquisition at Samsung TV Plus Europe, said:

It’s exciting to see how FAST is evolving to meet the demands of its growing viewership. Audiences are responding to FAST because of its unique value proposition, offering specialised streaming content for all the family. We are very excited to partner with Amuse Animations for the launch of Car City Adventures across many of our Samsung TV Plus market and bring high quality pre-school content to Samsung households.

Stefan Van Engen, Vice President of Programming and Partnership at Xumo, stated:

At Xumo Enterprise, we work with many of the top rights holders and distributors to help them create and distribute their FAST channels around the world. Through our growing suite of FAST solutions and existing relationship with Samsung TV Plus, we were happy to help Amuse Animation bring this new channel to life in many countries across the globe, in multiple languages.
