With one of Europe’s largest animation catalogs, with over 5,000 hours of  premium content, the Paris-based distributor Mediatoon Distribution is committed to offering a wide range of  demographics, genres, storytelling and visual styles.

Morgann Favennec, Deputy Managing Director of Mediatoon Distribution, said:

We are excited to attend MIPCOM with such a diverse slate, showcasing well established IPs and original concepts. Highlighting the variety of talents, narrative tons,  and visual styles in animation remains a top priority for us as distributors.

At MIPCOM, Mediatoon will launch Martin Morning: The Chinese Mystery (86’), an adventure feature-film aimed at family audiences. It follows Martin, a young boy with a  special power: everyday he wakes up with a new appearance, from a pirate to an alien and even a dragon. Because of his special ability, Martin journeys to a village in China to defeat a mysterious beast. But there’s a problem: he can’t control his unpredictable  power.

Ready for delivery, the movie is a spinoff of the beloved character from the four season animated series Martin Morning, distributed in more than 150 territories.

Additionally, the distributor will showcase two new TV specials acquired from third parties producers, reinforcing Mediatoon’s commitment to external productions that complement the in-house line-up of its sister companies (Ellipse Animation, Belvision,  Studio Campedelli).

Zoobox (26’) is a preschool stop-motion adventure following a curious kangaroo that loses her parents after boarding a boat. Driven to find them, she starts her search, meeting countless animals along the way. With a great educational added value, Zoobox raises awareness about climate change in a playful and poetic way.

Venice, the Most Ancient City of the Future (26’) is a kids and family time-traveling adventure. Falling through a mysterious gate, Nanna embarks on a journey thanks to an  antique time machine, visiting the Venice from the past and the future. Between History  and family roots, Nanna will realize that the future of her beloved city lies in her own hands. Venice, the Most Ancient City of the Future is a strong fable celebrating  ecological consciousness and the power role of children taking action.
