The annual Annecy International Animation Film Market (Mifa) is calling for innovative submissions for its prestigious Mifa Pitches. This showcases a unique opportunity for animators to present their work to industry leaders, with the aim of securing vital partnerships and investment.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, Mifa continues to champion the animation field in all its vibrant diversity.

A highlight of this year’s event is the introduction of a new Pitch session dedicated specifically to animated documentaries, further broadening the scope for creators to share their stories.

The submission deadline is set for 31st January 2025, encompassing various categories, including Short Films, Feature Films, TV Series & Specials, and Immersive Experiences.

Read the guidelines.

Notably, since 2021, projects originating from territories where animation is still developing are invited to compete across all categories. Selected projects from these regions can gain access to the Animation du Monde programme, which offers tailored support to enhance their journey.
