Warner Bros. Discovery has acquired rights to air the award-winning digital sensation Booba through a new content deal with international content production and distribution company Kedoo Entertainment, the companies announced today.

Warner Bros. Discovery will debut the latest Booba Season (5), consisting of 26 seven-minute episodes, on HBO Max worldwide, excluding the U.S. The new season is now available across Latin America (LATAM), with plans to premiere in Asia Pacific  in November 2025 and across HBO Max-supported EMEA markets in December 2025.

Booba season 5 is in its premiere run on Cartoonito across Latin America, with 13 new episodes airing daily in the first week, followed by weekly Monday premieres. The season will also air later this year on Discovery Kids and POGO in India. To support the rollout, clips from Season 5 will begin appearing on YouTube.

Produced by Kedoo’s in-house animation studio 3D Sparrow, Booba began life as a YouTube series and has since grown into a global hit, amassing over 22 billion views and 20 million subscribers. It currently ranks among Netflix’s top 10 kids’ animated titles and holds the #1 spot in the comedy genre. The series has aired on local television channels in more than 45 countries worldwide.

Booba is a non-dialogue animated comedy aimed at children aged 2-8 and their families. It delivers soft educational values such as empathy and resilience, all through humorous adventures. Season 5 expands Booba’s universe with new worlds and characters, including alternate Boobas, dinosaurs from the prehistoric era, and a robot from the future.

Olivier Bernard, COO and Co-Founder of Kedoo Entertainment, says: “Booba continues to grow a huge global community fan base, the series is evolving, and its worldwide footprint keeps expanding, which is fantastic! We are very pleased and humbled to partner with one of the biggest entertainment outlets on the planet, Warner Bros. Discovery.”
