The legendary Jade Armor is a mythical superhero, and now it is Lan Jun’s turn to be Jade Armor. Even she can’t quite believe her destiny is to be this epic hero. With the help of her friends, Theo and Alisha and the mystical Beasticons that accompany the Armor, Lan Jun is thrust into a series of action-packed adventures. Every day, she must contend with both an evil array of super villains and the very real trials of teenage life.

Jade Armor’s talented all-female creative team is led by multi-award-winning executive producer Corinne Kouper, supported by showrunner and co-creator, Chloé Miller; head writer, MJ Offen; French story editor, Ghyslaine Pujol, and co-developer, Mary Bredin. Based on a concept by M Pongo Kuo, Jade Armor is entirely produced in TeamTO’s state of the art animation studios in France.

The series has been picked among the three animation nominees at the Unifrance TV Export Awards, which recognise the French television programs that have achieved the most sales internationally.

Corinne Kouper, SVP Production and Development at TeamTO, said:

We are so happy that Jade Armor has been nominated in the Animation category at the prestigious Unifrance TV Export Awards. The second season of the series is in production, and we can’t wait to share it with the public. Every episode delivers new and unexpected surprises making season 2 of Jade Armor more of a saga than ever!

The martial arts action-comedy series, aimed at 6-10 year olds is currently airing on Cartoon Network (EMEA), France Télévisions (France), Super RTL (Germany); ABC (Australia), Youku Kids (China) and SRC (Canada) with a second season planned for 2025.

New deals for the 26 x 26’ series, produced by TeamTO in association with France Télévisions and Super RTL, with the participation of CNC, the support of Region Ile de France, Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Creative Europe MEDIA include: PCCW (Hong Kong); MTVA (Hungary); Bell Media (Canada), and Mediacorp (Singapore). They join Téléquébec (Canada); WildBrain (Canada); RTBF (Belgium), and DR (Denmark) which are already on board.

Lionel Marty, Managing Director of APC Kids, said:

We are delighted to be further extending the reach of Jade Amor as new broadcasters come on board, introducing this strong, martial-arts-loving female central character and her world to new audiences globally as well as being recognised by the coveted Unifrance TV Export Awards nominations.
