Brands & Rights 360 to represent "The Argonauts and the Golden Coin" internationally

Produced by RTVE and Portocabo, The Argonauts and the Golden Coin is Clan TVE`s first live-action children’s series combined with short fragments of animation. It premiered on Clan TVE in June 2023 with strong ratings amongst children and family audiences. The agreement to distribute this first season (20 episodes of 22’) includes all linear and non linear rights.

Set over a summer in Galicia and inspired by the spirit of The Famous Five and The Goonies, translated to the 21st century, the series is aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old that follow the adventures of a group of friends during the summer. The Argonauts is an inclusive series where children from different backgrounds and diverse realities come together to share great adventures.

This Spanish production has been nominated at the Content Innovation Awards as “Best Live-Action Kids Drama” during MIPCOM 2023 and at the first edition of the Latin Rose D’Or Award, during Content Americas 2024.

Alfonso Blanco, Executive Producer and creator of the series, said:

Content that shows a world where our audiences can recognize themselves; adventures that take place in a small town in Spain but contain the necessary elements to tell a universal story. Stories which show a diverse world, full of values and fun.

Portugal has been the first territory outside of Spain to acquire the series. The Argonauts and The Golden Coin will premiere this summer on RTP2 Portugal – in Euro-Portuguese – followed by SIC K.

Brands & Rights 360 is already discussing this title with other channels and platforms in Italy, France, Germany and Benelux, among others. MENA, USA, Canada, Brasil, New Zealand or Africa will follow.
